America’s Rental Housing is a biennial report summarizing recent data showing how rental housing is home to a growing share of the nation’s increasingly diverse households. Tight rental markets present a challenge of affordability in a time of rising overall demand, and an ongoing need for sound policies and programs that address the needs of lower income renters and communities and expand the range of rental housing options.
