Enrique Mutis
Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, Enrique Mutis is a Latin American architect and urban designer harnessing his cross-disciplinary expertise and multicultural perspective to advocate for urban equity and economic mobility for vulnerable populations. By bridging the gaps between community engagement, geospatial data analytics, and urban policy innovation, his work applies a qualitative and quantitative approach to housing, mobility, and economic development.
With over 15 years in the private sector, Enrique has contributed to award-winning multi-family housing, healthcare facilities, and community-driven cultural institutions, including Destination Crenshaw in Los Angeles. Through the Bloomberg Harvard Cities Initiative Fellowship, he transitioned to the public sector and now leads the Livability Lab at the City of Anaheim. His multidisciplinary and collaborative approach expands the agency of design to deliver effective solutions with measurable impact.
Enrique holds a Master of Architecture in Urban Design with Distinction from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Architecture from SCI-Arc.
