An Update on The State of the Nation’s Housing

Our State of the Nation’s Housing 2024 report, which was released in June, found that millions of potential homebuyers had been priced out of the market by high home prices and interest rates, the number of renters with cost burdens had hit an all-time high, and record numbers of people were experiencing homelessness. Daniel McCue, a Senior Research Associate at the Center, will share the report findings as well as data updates that were released since the report was published.
