Reflection, Resistance, and Repair: Growing Our Capacity to Eradicate Homelessness and Create Home

Dr. April Y. Silas, CEO of Homeless Children's Network, will discuss the connection between upstream historical trauma and the current system and impact of homelessness, particularly on the Black community. Dr. Silas will guide us through ways we can develop our psychosocial, spiritual, and internal capacities to contribute to the eradication of homelessness and will discuss what she believes is most important in the creation of home. Howard Koh, faculty chair of Harvard Chan School’s Initiative on Health and Homelessness, will moderate.
