Housing Infrastructure, Policy & Design Symposium

The student-organized Housing Infrastructure, Policy & Design Symposium will convene policymakers, practitioners, academics, and students to tackle some of the most pressing challenges in housing today. Topics will include affordability, sustainability, homelessness, modular construction, housing tech, and global lessons. This is a unique opportunity to explore innovative solutions to the global housing crisis through a multidisciplinary lens. Speakers will include academic professors, nonprofit organizers, elected officials, private sector CEOs, and more.
The event will also feature an exhibition of academic works from GSD students, including physical models and research papers, showcasing creative approaches to housing and urban design.
