Research:
Rental Housing
To
complement the Joint Center’s research on homeownership
and related topics, the Center also conducts research on rental
housing and the issues surrounding the preservation and market
dynamics of this important segment of the nation’s housing
stock.
As
part of this effort, the Joint Center, with support from the MacArthur
Foundation, has established the Rental Housing Dynamics and Affordability
Initiative to further expand information and research about rental
housing. The Initiative includes a series of working papers and
reports by Joint Center staff and Fellows on topics of particular
interest in rental markets and will culminate with the convening
of a symposium on rental issues in the near future.
