At
the core of the Joint Center's research agenda is the examination
of housing markets, and the economic and demographic trends driving
market dynamics. Each year, this ongoing research produces the
widely recognized State of the Nation's Housing report,
which is the Center's premier publication.
Each
year-long research agenda for the State of the Nation's Housing
also produces a number of smaller focused studies which are
published as working papers. These cover a range of topics including
housing and household wealth, rental prices, homebuilding, and
the demographics of housing demand.
The
State of the Nation's Housing receives principal funding from
the Ford Foundation. The Center is also fortunate to have many
organizations and associations as collaborators and co-sponsors.
