Research:
Finance
Housing finance is an expanding focus for Joint Center research efforts. The Center's work in this area addresses a wide range of topics including multifamily housing finance, community lending, tax credit properties, and predatory lending. The Joint Center also publishes a series of research papers on financial systems and communities, with the Brookings Institution. This series is published as an electronic journal, Capital Xchange, and has covered topics such as capital needs in community development, access to financial services, capital markets and corporate investment in urban development.
