MEDIA ADVISORY

(Cambridge, MA) On June 23, 2008, the Joint Center for Housing Studies will present research that analyzes housing markets, as well as the economic, demographic and social trends that drive market performance. These trends shape the future of where and how people live.

WHO

The Joint Center for Housing Studies is Harvard University’s center for information and research on housing in the United States. Established in 1959, the Joint Center is a collaborative unit affiliated with the Graduate School of Design and the Harvard Kennedy School.

Nicolas P. Retsinas, director, Eric S. Belsky, executive director, and Rachel Drew, research analyst, Joint Center for Housing Studies

Release of The State of the Nation's Housing 2008.

Now in it’s 20th year, this annual report looks at the pressures facing the nation’s housing markets and beyond them to the underpinnings of long run housing supply and demand. Copies of the report, press release and fact sheet will be available to the media on June 16, 2008.
