Fellowships:
Opportunities for Students
The
Joint Center has several fellowships and awards programs that are
open annually to Harvard students.
The
John R. Meyer Dissertation Fellowship provides support for a doctoral
student engaged in writing a dissertation on a housing topic compatible
with the Center's areas of inquiry.
The
Emerging Leaders in Community and Economic Development Summer
Fellowship is co-sponsored by NeighborWorks America and the Joint
Center. The program provides master's level students with the
opportunity to spend a summer on an analytical project suitable
for publication as a working paper, while working directly with
Neighborworks staff and Joint Center Faculty, and presenting their
research in Washington, DC at a policy briefing arranged by the
Joint Center.
The
JCHS Awards for Housing Research and Design are presented each
year to students who have completed an outstanding research project
or design project related to housing. Student projects are nominated
for the awards by faculty members who have supervised the work.
